| Procedures |
1. Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop. 2. Uninstall the existing Conexant Audio Driver by clicking Start, Control Panel, Uninstall a Program under the Programs heading, Conexant HD Audio, then Uninstall. 3. Restart the computer. 4. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation. If a User Account Control message is displayed, click Continue. 5. Click OK, Unzip then OK again. 6. Answer the remaining prompts to complete the display driver installation. 7. Restart the computer. Driver Version Verification 1. Run Device Manager. 2. Double-click Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 under Sound, video and game controllers. 3. Click the Driver tab and verify that the driver version is 4.36.10.0. |
